Provided your metal cabinets are already coated with water-based paint, you could go over that with the AFM Transitional Primer followed by AFM Zero VOC Paint. If the metal cabinets are raw and uncoated metal, it would be best to prime that first with AFM SafeCoat, MetalCoat Metal Primer.
