We spoke to Vermont Natural Coatings and they told us that Water Proofer will treat the wood to resist moisture. Temperature should not be an issue, as it is consistent with outdoor temps in some areas. Water Proofer does not contain any RedList or CA Prop 65 ingredients (chemicals often found in building materials despite being known to be harmful to human health and water ecosystems), so as such it should not impact your reptile friends. Another option we would recommend would be to use the Water Proofer for all things above the soil line and use AFM Safecoat Dynoseal for all those areas beneath the soil.
