Can this be used to spot clean a carpet? I don't want to rent an extractor for just one spot.

If you just have a spot, order the small sample instead . Then:1) Make a solution with hot water 50/502) Spray on and let set then scrub gently 3) Lastly blot with absorbent rags 4) May need to repeat if soiling is bad THIS IS NOT FOR WOOL CARPET.
