I make clay reptile decor from air-dry clay. I want a sealer that will protect from daily misting in the tank and that can resist heat. Clay is porous so it should stick to it as it would with wood. Will this product work? What is it's heat resistance?

As long as the surface is clean dry and free of oils or waxes, this product should adhere well. As a moisture resistant finish it will protect from light misting. It should withstand normal temperatures up to temps of 110 degrees or slightly more but probably not much more than that. As we have never used this in a reptile environment, please report back so others can learn from your experience. Thank you.
