The surface of my linoleum floor got damaged from a too alkaline cleaning product, could this product (or any other) help reseal the surface to avoid the linoleum deteriorating and emitting VOCs. Forbo recommends their Forbo Floor Finish for routine maintenance. It is a clear topical sealer which will protect and revive the floor. However, if the color has been modified, you may need to buff the surface with a nylon buffing pad first. Marmoleum has a through body color so any discoloration can be ground off this way, and then re-sealed with the Floor Finish. Forbo does not recommend using wax...ever.
