Hi! I read about the presence of 1-methyl 2-pyrrolidinone in the greenguard certification sheet which may cause reproductive harm. Is it present in the PET stain/finish in the wood cork flooring? Also, what are the ingredients of SRT finish? We will be installing cork floor by removing the old carpets. Do we need an underlayment?

There is no NMP in PET finish. Amorim has several Indoor Air Quality certificates, that certify that no harmful particles are present in their flooring products. While the UL GreenGuard standard may allow it doesn't mean that it is used in the finish. The European certifications have standards that do not allow it and Amorim's waterproof products comply with these highest standards. See the downloadable pdfs on our website for more details
