The Bioshield Teak Furniture oil will certainly bring teak furniture or other hardwoods back to life. We've used it on several chairs in our showroom and it does a beautiful job! To prep aged furniture, clean off grease, grime and loose particles. Old grayed surfaces can either be cleaned with a steel brush or, where not desired, the grayed surface should be sanded off. If it's new furniture, you should sand surfaces lightly with no finer than #100 grit sandpaper. Apply by brush, in a thin and even coat. Use only top quality brushes so you can evenly disperse the oil and move excess material to other parts of the furniture. Do not thin. Please note, this product is non-toxic but has a strong linseed-based odor that will dissipate in 1-2 weeks. We recommend putting outdoors or in a garage for several days.
