Yes, as long as the wood is clean, dry, porous and has not been previously sealed. Usually a light sanding is required to remove any contaminants, open the pores and provide a good clean substrate. The Caspian Clear coating allow the sun to go right through and destroy the surface of the wood within 1-2 years in direct sun. The colored products will block UV much better and provide a longer lasting finish.
