Do the wood-look cork floors require a specific backing on entry mats and kitchen mats? I understand theres an issue with rubber or latex backed mats on cork, but since the top layer of the wood-look flooring is a different material, what kind of mat or rug can be used?

Rubber backed area rugs are not recommended over Amorim Cork Flooring. Rubber can trap moisture and cause movement. Some area rugs also have a binding of fibers on the back that can be very hard. These fibers can cause a slight indentation when stepped on. (Like stepping on a pebble that is on the floor). If these hard fibers exist, they would recommend a mesh carpet barrier to help protect the floor.
