Getting ready to install the Marmoleum Click we received yesterday. In those areas where the panels must be cut to fit around obstructions or can't be angled in, Forbo's instructions call for shaving down the groove side of the panel and to use "wood glue" to substitute for the click mechanism. They don't specify what type of "wood glue." Am I free to use the "Titebond II" indoor/outdoor wood glue that I have on hand? One video that I found recommends using vinyl adhesive caulk, which gave me some cause for concern. Thank you in advance for your response!

Thank you for you inquiry and it is great to hear that you've read Forbo's installation instructions! The Titebond glue that you have on hand, is just fine to use, we've used it on our flooring projects as well. If you find yourself needing to purchase some wood glue for flooring projects in the future, we carry Kahrs Landobond Adhesive which is a specially formulated non-toxic adhesive designed especially for the expansion and contraction of floating floors. It is exceptionally strong, yet more flexible than most wood glues.
