How resistant is this new generation cork floor to fading from sunlight? Our current cork tile installation faded badly around area rugs after a few years of partial daily sun exposure through south and west windows resulting in a bleached-out appearance compared to the much darker covered areas. Thanks.

All natural materials will fade somewhat from UV light. That is true of hardwood, bamboo, cork, waterproof cork, linoleum, vinyl and even some tile. The only way to avoid this is to use some blinds on the windows and avoid area rugs for the first year or so�or move them around so the fading does not contrast with surrounding areas.
