The hard oil is for interior applications only, it will not stand up to outdoor usage. For exterior wood furniture, we have exterior grade products. The best thing to stand up to UV rays would be Satin Exterior Paint, second best would be colored exterior stain (a product having pigment in it is key, the darker the color, the more UV protection). For stains, check out Vermont PolyWhey Exterior Penetrating Stain or Rubio Monocoat Exterior Wood Protector. For Paints we have ECOS Universal Primer and Exterior Satin Wall Paint or AFM Safecoat Transitional Primer and All Purpose Exterior Satin Paint. All Exterior Grade Paints and Non-Paint Finishes : https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/All-Products/Non-Toxic-Paints?&search_query
