We prefer to burnish immediately after the second coat has been absorbed because it is easier to force the oil into the grain of the wood when it is still wet.
You mention burnishing with 250 - 350 grit aluminum oxide sandpaper. Is this done after each coat when the surface is still wet or after the surface is dry before the next coat Ismail applied? SAMPLE - Bioshield, Hard Oil Wood Stains & Sealers
