The Bioshield Clay Paint really isn't intended for furniture as it doesn't have abrasion resistance that is needed for furniture application. BioShield Clay Paint is for indoor walls and ceilings. The ECOS brand would be a great choice for painting furniture. If your surface is raw wood, use 1 coat of the ECOS Wood Primer and then 2 coats of ECOS SemiGloss Paint. If it is a previously painted surface you can use the Universal Primer instead of the wood primer.
