None of the paints we sell would be able to go over that wax surface. They wouldn't stick properly.
Is your clay paint suitable to go over lime based plaster that has been rubbed down with �Sopex,� a tinted wax finish for Marmarino Plaster? The original surface was done 14 years ago. Bioshield, Clay Paint - Venetian Collection Paints & Primers
