Rubio Monocoat Hybrid is a great, protective exterior stain to go on raw wood. It comes in colors as well as a clear called Pure. If you use the Pure, it will give a gentle amber through time as all clear oils do. The colors are semi-transparent. We suggest you order small samples online of any of the colors you are interested in so you can try them on your wood first to see how they appear and how well they work on your particular wood.
