I used this on a dining room table and love the look, but its extremely susceptible to grease or fats (butter, salad dressing, etc). They leave a smear even after wiping it up. Any suggestions on what to do? I'm thinking of sanding and resealing with something else.

For the best protection, natural oils need to be burnished into the wood with a buffing machine.
