No, Rubio Monocoat is not formulated to be an encapsulating sealer. Encapsulating formaldehyde is the specialty of the company AFM SafeCoat. They have several sealers that are encapsulating, some of them include Polyureseal, Hard Seal, Safe Seal and Acrylacq. The type of projects determines which sealer may be best.
