The Vermont Natural Coatings Water Proofer is a great product if you want to retain the color and look and feel of the raw wood. Provided the wood IS raw. We sell sample sizes so you can test that the wood has not been sealed or coated with something else. If it has been previously sealed this product will not work unless you sand down to raw wood. If your outdoor tables get a lot of sun, it should also be noted that this is a clear penetrating product that provides no UV protection, so will need periodic updates based on how much sun it gets.
