There is no UV inhibitor in the Penetrating Water Proofer. The Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Exterior Penetrating Stain (disregarding the Caspian Clear) has UV inhibitors because of the pigments in the colored stains. Vermont Stain holds up under intense direct sun, lots of rain and snow. While no stain/sealer will hold up forever under these conditions, we have had quite the following with this product and many satisfied customers who love it.
