Yes. Surfaces must be clean, free of grease, absorbent and dry. All surfaces must be sanded no finer than #150 in order to absorb the Wood Counter Finish properly.This being an oil, you will need to reapply as part of regular maintenance. This however, will not encapsulate or provide any abrasion resistance.
