We are buying a zinus mattress for our camper, our bed is a slide out and people are having mold form underneath their mattress, would this work as a moisture barrier?

Part of the reason mold is forming underneath a mattress is because there is no air flow to dry out the moisture. A plastic vapor barrier will protect the mattress from mold but will not prevent mold from growing underneath it. You can seal the slide out frame with our Caliwel mold inhibiting paint. That will not only kill mold and mildew but will prevent it from growing for at least 6 years.
