Would this work instead of tar paper for barrier between rafters and a tin roof?

Moisture Block would not work with roofs. Moisture Block is a vapor barrier for floating floors only, introducing any kind of nail would compromise the vapor barrier.We do carry roofing underlayment for this job. Check out EcoStar Aqua Guard Roofing Underlayment and EcoStar Glacier Guard.
