Hi Sasha,I asked earlier about the Rubio oil being adequate to seal formaldehyde. You said no and sent me a list of other products by AFM that would possibly work. The project involved is particle board walls which need to be sealed to be safe for me. Because I am so exquisitely sensitive to formaldehyde, it would need to be the best one. Can you let me know which one this would be? Thank you, Micheila View answer

I would like to use this on the floor at my business. I will be using a floor scrubber on it occasionally and would like it to hold up. I will be using the primer and two coats on the area after stripping it. My question is will I need to use a top coat or anything to protect it? View answer

Hello, we are making a bed for my toddler and I stained the wood with an oil-based stain. I am not worried about chemicals, etc. I plan to let the wood cure/dry and off gas in the garage and outside for 48-72 hours before putting a finish or seal on it. I have been looking for the safest seal to put on this so that I feel comfortable having this wood as my toddlers bed. Would this seal work over oil-based stain that has been well cured? Would it completely seal/protect the wood/stain? Thanks! View answer

I'm adding a second bath to my home and I would like the floor to be as slip-resistant as possible when wet. I've seen a measure of slipperiness for some flooring called DCOF, dynamic coefficient of friction. Can you tell me what the DCOF value for marmoleum is? View answer

First, I am working with raw, unfinished wood. Do I need to use a different penetrating oil, such as your hard oil, first? The description seems to think so, but most of the recommendations in the answer sections do not. Second, can a normal paint be applied over top of this finish? I'm trying to find a safe way to make wooden cake toppers. My thought is to treat the entire topper with this to seal it, and then paint the top portion as usual leaving the posts where food may contact with just the food grade finish. View answer
