I'm trying to remove mothball odor from closet space, either by using air purifying paint like ECOS to absorb the odor or seal in the odor with AFM Safecoat transitional primer. Do you think I could have luck with either one of these? I know it's not a guarantee, but anything will help. View answer

I want to restore some old, neglected garden stick tools (shovels, rakes etc.) I plan to thoroughly de-rust the metal with an electrolysis tank and a Scotch-Brite scrub. I would then like to recoat with rust-inhibiting, abrasion resistant products that won't contaminate my soil when they inevitably do wear off. Does this product fit my needs? What about a top coat recommendation? View answer

Hi, I'm staining my concrete floors in my basement. I have fixed some small cracks w something called quick Crete. Then sanded them down, next I will stain. Is this an appropriate sealer given I am staining and repairing the concrete first? The concrete is fairly smooth, I would like the floor to be waterproof and to protect my floors while giving a nice light sheen. Is this the right product? If not what would you recommend? Thank you View answer

We built some storage shelving to use in the garage and for 3 weeks we tore the garage apart looking for the source of the odd fishy/dead smell. It appears to be coming from the particle board shelving on the new racks. Which of the Safe Seal products will seal it best? 1/4" thick, smooth on one side, rough on the other. View answer
