I have a condo with above grade concrete floors. Would I be able to apply this moisture block on the concrete then install my wood floors directly on top of it? It is solid hardwood. I don't plan on using a plywood subfloor (plywood has toxic chemicals and I'm not interested in going through the off-gassing process). View answer

working in a very old building (historic); the floor is over an old cellar style basement. Original hardwood floor was covered with 1/2" masonite underlayment. There is a distinct old smell either coming from the basement or resident in the underlayment. Could remove underlayment, but smell will definitely come through now exposed numerous old flooring joints. Considering sealing in the underlayment with a product like this. Whatever we use needs to not only penetrate, but for a layer or coating. What do you think? View answer

Hello, I have extreme multiple chemical SENSITIVITY. I need a vapor barrier membrane for my dirt floor crawl space. It needs to be free of formaldehyde, bleach, petroleum free, so the smell doesn't come up into home. Also need chemical free spray foam too or something to seal under floor joists. Crawl space is 3 feet high.Do you have a shellac that would not crack to cover a wood floor? View answer

I plan to use this product to caulk a tub/shower. Most traditional caulks say to wait 24 hours after application before showering. This product is described as curing better in moist environments, so do you have to wait the traditional 24 hrs after application before showering? Thanks View answer

will this work for "slate"? I am in the process of finishing a pillar base, landing and stairs (outdoors). The landing and stairs are sheltered from the rain and sun. The pillar base is exposed to the rain and morning sun. If this works, should it be applied before grouting? or after? thank you! View answer

My husband did not want to buy an extra long baby gate, so he made one. The problem is, it won't be helpful because its got splintering areas and I will just be constantly keeping the baby away from the gate. Is there any non toxic finish I can apply to it in order to prevent the splintering? View answer

Hi, I am looking to refresh the look of my counter-top dish draining rack. It is strong going but got rusty through the years. What paint/finish would you recommend to use? I am looking for a non-toxic option as people are going to use the draining dishes for food. Thx View answer

I'm interested in this product but curious if you can install over existing sheet vinyl. We have original sheet vinyl over 3/4 inch plywood subfloor which has some deflection. Is it advisable to put down a thicker underlayment on top first? We actually had LVT installed over the sheet vinyl with grout but the grout started to crumble immediately. So we have to start over. Id prefer this product since its also non toxic. But want to make sure itll hold up on our existing floors. Thank you! View answer
