Yes, you can use thicker underlayment to provide greater acoustical protection under GBS Waterproof Hardwood Click Flooring. For optimal results with this waterproof hardwood flooring, we recommend Quietboard at 6 mm or cork underlayment in either 3 mm or 6 mm, with the appropriate vapor barrier.
