Bamboo Flooring from GBS, such as the Engineered Strand Bamboo Flooring, is designed as a click-lock floating floor. Cabinets or heavy appliances should not be installed atop this flooring, since it must expand and contract freely. Expansion gaps are left wherever the wide plank bamboo flooring meets walls, cabinets, or door frames, and these are concealed using appropriate molding for a seamless look and proper floor performance.
