Any floating floor, including Waterproof Forbo Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc Seal, requires a flat subfloor beneath it. With Marmoleum click flooring, the subfloor must be flat to within 3/32 inch over 6 feet—peaks and valleys must therefore be less than 1/8 inch. Refer to the Installation Instructions and Substrate Evaluation & Preparation Guidelines documents on the product webpage, in the Downloads section.
