Yes, you certainly can use EcoStar Traditional Cedar Shake roof tiles as siding. We recommend the Traditional Shake over the Niagara Shake for this application, as they are thinner and will lay flatter on vertical surfaces, making them ideal for siding. This has been done by a handful of customers with great success.
