Please consult the Installation Instructions here regarding underlayment for this Sustainable Bamboo Flooring. Subfloors have different requirements in various situations—concrete versus wood, below grade or crawl space versus above grade. For any bamboo floating floor, a vapor barrier is generally required, as recommended by the bamboo flooring manufacturer.
