The wear layer on our GBS Waterproof Hardwood is a very thin (0.6mm) veneer. This floor is not intended to be sanded and refinished in the future, nor should it need to be. It has a tough pro matte lacquer finish and the ultra-dense high-compression Compositek™ core. Together, these make for a dent and scratch-resistant surface that never needs sanding.
