Question: We recently had a home built (2016 sf). it's on a concrete slab with infloor hot water heat. Is this cork a good option for us?
Answer: Per the Installation Guidelines: https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/c..." Amorim does Not recommend floating in:
- Bathrooms, kitchens, or in areas with excessive moisture
- Saunas or sunrooms with lots of direct sunlight and excessive heat (45 degrees C /110 degrees F)
- Over Radiant heated subfloors.
- Commercial high traffic areas
In all of the above cases, the waterproof cork should be glued down. Please refer to glue-down installation instructions."
