The hard plastic pan should be fine to use under any appliance. It's an excellent safety precaution.
Protecting floor from appliances? Wicanders Waterproof Cork Flooring EARTH DAY FLASH SALE 2026
I’m wanting to use a hard plastic pan under my dishwasher both to help protect the floor and to help detect leaks earlier (because the pan is designed to move water to the front where you will detect it). Would that work with this? I know it says not to use rubber backed rugs because they trap moisture so I wasn’t sure if the hard plastic would be an issue.
