Generally, the answer is no because Mexeseal is made for porous surfaces and Marble is generally not very porous, even if it is honed. While there are some sealers on the market that are safe, we have not found any that hold up well enough to high or low pH acids or alkaline substances. Since every natural stone is different, you can certainly test with a small sample to see if it bonds well. Yes, this can take the place of grout sealer because grout is very porous. Mexeseal is medium gloss compared to Grout Sealer which is matt.
