Answer: No. It is solely for use as a gripper for a rug, not wall to wall. J Mish, Natural Performance Wool Cushion, 36oz (3/8 inch) is what you use under wall to wall carpeting.
Question: Can this rubber gripper be use under the sisal carpet?
Answer: It is meant to be used under most types of rugs. If you have a specific rug, you may need to make certain with the manufacturer that it doesn't have "special needs".
Question: What size would you recommend for a circular rug? 5 feet
Answer: To be on the safe side, I'd choose a 6x9 and trim it. The rug gripper is trimmable with a sharp pair of scissors.

Answer: According to Earth Weave, their rug grippers do not have any flame retardants.
Question: All the luxury vinyl plank manufacturers say rubber or latex will stain the vinyl, yet you say this can be used on all floor types. Why is your product different from other natural rubbers? From what I understand, the process of making rubber involves chemicals, and it is those chemicals that react with the luxury vinyl plank and create discoloring.

Answer: The rug gripper is designed to keep area rugs from moving around. The Berber Supreme or Full House Cushions are for wall to wall carpeting and are much thicker and cushier. You can order samples of all of these from our website to see which satisfies your needs.
Question: Hi does the rug pad help with soundproofing?
Answer: There is no specs on soundproofing for this product. Theoretically yes it would help minimally with sound deadening. Our DeciBlok would be another option to try as it is designed to Blok Decibels. It is 1/8" thick and can be used underneath a rug, however, it does not grip as well as the Rug Gripper.
Question: Can I use this rug pad on a marmoleum floor?
Answer: Yes, you can use the Rug Gripper on top of Marmoleum. It will not leave any marks.
Question: Will the natural rubber gripper stick to a new wood floor, or damage it in any way?
Answer: The Earth Weave Rubber Rug Gripper helps prevent slipping of your rug but shouldn't stick. This pad will not stain any type of floor and is highly unlikely that it would damage a floor.
