Can this be used to seal between a kitchen counter and backsplash? I need a nontoxic caulk in either clear or black.

Yes, chemlink clear can be used to seal between a kitchen counter and backsplash, as long as you remove any old caulk first and make sure the surfaces are clean. Please note that none of the caulk we sell, including chemlink clear, contains mold or mildewcide additives. If you specifically want that kind of protection, our caulks will not provide it.
