Cut off the tip. Puncture the metal inside the tube with a long nail to allow the caulk to flow out. You will need a gun to squeeze some out. Then you can seal up the tip with a xxxx or some duct tape.
How can I open the tube of SafeCoat caulking to try a very small amount in my condo ? Want to test the smell to see if acceptable to me. If ok I will hire a handyman to use his gun to apply it.Openings between floor and walls where cold air come up from basement.Just want to squeeze a test amt out ... thanks!
