Is this product suitable and safe for use in an outdoor wooden planter box for growing vegetables? I'm looking for something to seal the seams between wooden panels but don't want it to leach any chemicals into the soil.

Clear would work fine in this application. Chem Link would recommend letting the Clear cure for 72 hours prior to adding any soil. Chem Link products are USDA approved (100% solid - solvent free) for agricultural uses including green houses and such.
