Do you have to wait the traditional 24 hrs after application of Caulking Compound before showering?

I plan to use this product to caulk a tub/shower. Most traditional caulks say to wait 24 hours after application before showering. This product is described as curing better in moist environments, so do you have to wait the traditional 24 hrs after application before showering? Thanks

We recommend you follow directions and allow for the 24 hours to ensure the AFM Safecoat Caulk Compound cures completely before using your shower. Going off book can lead to product failure; there are good reasons the instructions are worded the way they are.
