If this is not possible, the areas should be acclimated and controlled by means of temporary HVAC to the service level conditions expected during occupancy. The temperature and humidity should range from 75 degrees F ? 10 degrees F (23.9 degrees C ? 5.5 degrees C) with a 50% ? 10% ambient relative humidity. These conditions must be established at least seven days prior to beginning the installation, maintained during the installation, and continued for at least seven days following the installation.https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/A...

We who love our animals just know scratching will happen with our large furry friends.
Question: Can kitchen cabinets and islands be installed on top of this flooring?
Answer: Because it is a floating floor, it's best to install up to the cabinets and island and not under them.
Question: Can this flooring be refinished?
Answer: Yes, it can be refinished but because the veneer layer is so thin, it cannot be sanded with a traditional flooring sander. You can recoat with our Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Floor Finish or AFM Polyureseal BP. However, the finish that comes with the flooring is already extremely durable and under normal foot traffic may not need recoating for 7-10 years. When the floor shows signs of wear, simply do a light hand sanding with a dry wall screen and then apply two coats of poly. Feel free to call and discuss with our eco-advisors at that time.
