Absolutely not. The sheet Marmoleum needs to only be installed over a structurally sound surface, like a plywood subfloor.
I am turning a carpeted bedroom into a workspace and would like to cover the entire room -350 square feet. Can I lay the Marmoleum over the carpet without glueing in case it needs to be turned back into a bedroom? The carpeting is very low wool. Forbo Marmoleum Walton Uni - Sheet Marmoleum Flooring
