The main difference is thickness: 2.0mm for MCS vs. 2.5mm for real and most other styles. Also there are much fewer colors for MCS compared to all the other sheet styles. Marmoleum Composition Sheet was mainly created for commercial applications where the subfloors are more perfect than most residential applications.
