I am very interested in installing Marmoleum Click in my kitchen. Do you know if you can install it on top of an existing laminate floating floor?

Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc can be installed over existing ceramic, vinyl, or types of flooring as long as they are smooth, flat and not bumpy. Marmoleum Click has a tolerance up or down of 3/16 over an 8' span, so if there is too much variation in the subfloor, it may cause the click mechanism to un-click or wear out over time. It is designed for a solid subfloor that is stable and non-moving. If that is true for your floor, then it should work. The worst case scenario is that you might have to remove the laminate floor and patch any dips or sand down any bumps in the subfloor and then re-lay the Marmoleum Click.
