It is suggested by Forbo, as a general recommendation, that any rugs or mats used with Waterproof Forbo Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc Seal (or really, any of the Marmoleum Products) should have a soft, non-staining backing, which is typically indicated on the label of the rug or mat.
