There are several considerations for making sure that your seams will be even and flush. The main one would be making sure to trim the factory edge of the Marmoleum at a slight angle to create an undercut. This will help to make a nice, flush or net seam as it's called. If you are installing in a large commercial area such as a cafeteria, you might consider using welding rod and heat welding the seams. This requires a special expensive equipment and professional know-how to apply correctly. Heat welding is not needed in most residential settings because the required Sustain 885 adhesive will prevent moisture from seeping underneath. There are videos and good instructions available for Forbo Marmoleum sheet seaming techniques on our website https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/A... and YouTube.
