When composite roofing was first created several decades ago, there were warping issues. However, those problems have been resolved long ago and that does not occur any longer. All roofing expands and contracts and our Brava and EcoStar are no exception. There are installation techniques to counter this as well.
We sell both products across the US, in all climates, and have not had any issues of warpage. Compared to asphalt roofing, this is a completely different product. Most people buy it as a preventative measure after they had hail or wind damage to their home. They never want to go through that experience again. Insurance companies favor this product and some offer 20% discounts on your homeowners insurance policy every year, which is a big help. Clearly this is a long term investment. If you have nice home and want to protect it, this is one of the best ways to do so.
