Yes, you will see the area is different that was under the rug. Wood naturally changes tone through time and uv/sunlight exposure and it's not avoidable. (Same is true of pretty much any floor)
The room I want to put this in is a living room that has large picture windows on almost all sides and we get a lot of direct sunlight. The room is 30 x 17 and I am wondering if it will fade. If I put a rug in the middle of the living room and pick it up a year or two later will I be able to see that where the rug was is darker, that a lot of the floor has faded? Thanks.
