You state that the area must be climate controlled before, during and after installation. For an RV/Fifth Wheel would it not be sufficient to keep the interior AC running continuously to provide that temperature, or does the external side (bottom) of the vehicle floor also need to be at that temperature? I'm wondering why I would need to keep my RV in a climate controlled garage before/during/after the process.

The instructions are worded that way for a reason. The reason you want the RV to be in a climate controlled garage is the temperature of the interior and exterior will be affecting the surface you are applying the glue to, and the surface you are placing atop the glue. If you have temperature and/or humidity fluctuations, layers are going to contract or expand, and if this is happening while the glue is in the process of drying it can adversely affect the bond of the glue to the surface the glue is over, and the surface over the glue. In even briefer terms, it will void the warranty if directions are not followed to the letter.
