Your question is a bit of a red flag. If you live in desert country, you can install any floor you want PROVIDED that you follow the instructions and keep the interior of your home within a range of temp and humidity that the floor can work within. This would be true of hardwood, marmoleum, and cork also.In the case of this specific floor, it does state in the installation instructions:"HVAC MUST BE RUNNING WITH A ROOM TEMPERATURE OF BETWEEN 60F TO 80F AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY OF BETWEEN 35 AND 55%, maintained and constant during installation process and throughout life of the floor."If your floor is commonly pushed outside of this happy zone with regard to temp and humidity, that could lead to cupping, cracking, squeaking and other failure.Installation Instructions: https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/core/media/media.nl?id=2152440&c=772072&h=4
